2009 Delivery Charges
FREE DELIVERY on carrier delivery chairs regardless of order size
Orders that do not qualify for FREE DELIVERY will be charged at £19.95 plus VAT
Delivery Arrangements - UK mainland
STANDARD DELIVERY IS TO GROUND FLOOR LEVEL ONLY ON MAINLAND GREAT BRITAIN.
Delivery to any other floor (either with or without lift) is considered to be installation (see below).
Delivery lead time for our white office furniture products is estimated at 15 working days.
Carrier chairs are usually delivered within 2-3 working days.
Delivery to remote areas on the UK mainland may take longer and may in some cases not be possible.
Orders placed after 4pm or at weekends/bank holidays are processed on the next working day.
The day the order is processed is day zero.
We ask the manufacturer to call in advance to advise delivery date to confirm which day
your order will be delivered (except for courier chair deliveries and express delivery items).
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, typically between 8:30am and 5:30pm.
We cannot allocate an exact time of delivery, however the delivery company can sometimes
request that a courtesy call to be made 1 hour prior to drivers arrival (please discuss this
option when you receive the delivery confirmation phonecall from the delivery company).
Installation
Installation is available as an optional extra cost service for most White office furniture products.
This must be specified at time of ordering - for SOME products Installation is not available.
The installation service is not available for FREE DELIVERY CHAIRS (which are usually delivered
separately via carrier). If installation is required on chairs, please order call before ordering so that we
can advise options.
What is Installation?
Installation includes removal of packaging materials, any assembly that may be required,
positioning the products at point of use, opportunity for the end user to inspect the installed
goods in the presence of the installer and any future warranty work that may be required at
the point of use.
INSTALLATION WILL BE DONE ON ANY FLOOR PROVIDING SUITABLE ACCESS IS
AVAILABLE (for Health and Safety reasons).
The installation area must be completely clear in order to allow the installation
team to assemble and install the furniture without hinderance. Installation cannot
usually be undertaken unless the customer or a representative of the customer is present
at the installation premises.
Installation charges will not be refunded if the installation team arrive at the
installation premises on the date agreed with the customer or customers representative
and the team are unable to install due to reasons under the control of the customer or
customers representative, for example if delivery is declined, if the installation area
is not clear or if there is no reasonable access to the installation area. It may be
possible to arrange for installation at a later date but additional charges may be payable
(at the discretion of the company directly handling the installation).
